Chemistry of cyanine dyes in view of modern physics

The Chemistry of Conjugated cyanine dyeswere studied in viewof Quantum Mechanical method. Particle in a box concept of modern physics is employed to describe the structural variation and electronic charge transfer (CT) inside the conjugated diene dyes.
