Classification of Fluids Fed by Displacement Pumps

Classification of fluids to be fed by pumps with mechanical a nd air displacers is provided. It is shown that such pumps may feed with variable, pulsing and intermittent flow. Each type of feed characterizes parameters having discrete value or chan ge spectrum that are specific for certain type of the feed. The article may be interesting for sp ecialists engaged in drilling technology issues.
