The aim of this research was to improve physical properties of bismuth based fusible alloys for different industrial applications. For this reason, two groups of fusible alloys, binary and ternary bismuth based fusible alloys, were prepared usingmelt spinning technique. Structure, electrical, mechanical and thermal properties of binary and ternary bismuth based fusible alloys were investigated to understand physical properties changing and thermal behavior of binary and ternary bismuth based fusible alloys for improving their required properties for industrial applications. Thermal behavior and physical properties of bismuth based fusible alloys changed correlated to the formation of hexagonal Pb7Bi3 intermetallic compound and solid solution after rapid solidification. The Bi62.5Pb25Cd12.5 alloy has the lowest melting point, 94 ï‚°C.
